HEArt & The Pittsburgh Poetry Collective bring the SPEAK LIKE A GIRL tour to Pittsburgh.
SPEAK LIKE A GIRL is an interactive poetry show that uses spoken word to entertain, educate & inspire. This punchy duo’s poems juggle issues ranging from street harassment to body image with humor and grace. Megan Falley and Olivia Gatwood have created the most exciting feminist show of the year. But most of all, they make SPEAKING LIKE A GIRL something to celebrate!

Megan Falley is the author of two books of poetry published by Write Bloody Press: After the Witch Hunt (2012) and Redhead and the Slaughter King (2014). Her chapbook, Bad Girls, Honey — Poems About Lana Del Rey is the winner of the Tired Hearts Competition. Falley has performed on TV One’s Verses & Flow. In 2014, she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and was a finalist at both The National Poetry Slam and The Woman of the World Poetry Slam. She is the founder of the online poetry course, Poems That Don't Suck. She currently lives in Brooklyn with a dog named Taco.
Olivia Gatwood is a Brave New Voices, Women of the World and National Poetry Slam finalist. Featured on HBO for her courageous and dynamic performances, Olivia is one of the youngest, yet fiercest competitors in poetry slam today. She is a senior at Pratt Institute and has taught writing workshops nationwide. When she is not writing, Olivia is the eternal CEO of the "No Boys Allowed" Club.
